The film industry can count on a diverse pool of support measures both public and private: funds can be available through the regional law dedicated to the sector but also through bank foundations and national instruments, such as the Art Bonus.

Funds are distributed pretty evenly on the territory, however  Bologna is the city that receives most resources. This is probably due to the fact that several audiovisual organizations and professionals are based here.
